WHO WE ARE

The Project Planning & Implementation Division works with various ministries in the government both at center and state level. Set up with a vision of young professionals who could help the government from outside on key issues and provide support wherever required.

The core of PPID is group of young, smart and dynamic professionals with a passion to make an impact. Fresh graduates as well as early-career achievers under the mentorship of highly distinguished leadership tackle various challenges towards transformative government projects.

PADD has been at the forefront in enabling several such impactful initiatives in the form of conducting capacity building workshops through the VCSMPP scheme, certification of products under the AYUSH Mark scheme in furtherance to hon’ble PM’s focus on high quality AYUSH products globally. PADD has also been at the forefront to support the ‘Eat Right India Initiative’ of the FSSAI, through the recognition of the ‘hygiene rating audit agencies’(HRAAs).

Having pioneered the Certification Scheme for Unmanned Aircraft Systems, duly approved by the Directorate General of Civil Aviation (DGCA),Ministry of Civil Aviation, QCI was mandated through Drone Rules 2021 to recommend standards to the Central Government and issue certificate of compliance as a prerequisite for the issuance of type certificate by DGCA.

The involvement of PADD in sustainability is deep rooted through the SDG Mapping and Impact Study initiative wherein PADD has developed the concept of mapping of standards to SDGs, known as the ‘Sustainable Development Goals Mapping and Analysis Programme’ (SDG MAP). PADD has conducted SDG Mapping and Impact Study of Trinities framework developed under the aegis of Indian Tea Association.

PADD has been working to promote India Good Agricultural Practices(IndG.A.P.) scheme by initiating a project with APEDA and Spices Board to improve quality of produce and creating awareness regarding good agricultural practices. Further, PADD is working closely with NCIIPC on development of conformity assessment framework for protection of CII.

There are several other examples which includes effective implementation of Good Laboratory Practices (GLP) certification programme of NGCMA for which various inspections are conducted. PADD is also working with Archaeological Survey of India (ASI), Ministry of Culture on aspects of accessibility and research study on traditional craftsmen. Each of the seinitiatives showcases the diversified business mix of PADD and acquisition of new capabilities and opportunities during the course of its journey.
